Prison Escapees Sought

Local and state authorities are looking for two prison escapees in the Pittsburg County area. The Oklahoma Department of Corrections say the two, 25-year-old Scotty White and 32-year-old Billy Mitchell were last seen during a bed check Tuesday morning at the John Lilly Correction Center in Boley.

White was serving time for a conviction of LeFlore County and Mitchell was in prison for convictions out of Latimer, Haskell and Pittsburg counties.

Prison officials say a search is underway and if anyone sees either White or Mitchell to call your local law enforcement agency.
