PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- An attorney for a Pennsylvania teen who admitted plotting a school attack confirms that the boy had chatted online with a teen-aged outcast in Finland. The Finnish teen then went on to kill eight people and himself in a high school shooting there.

The attorney for 14-year-old Dillon Cossey says the boy had chatted online about the Columbine massacre with the boy in Finland.

But he says the boy was "horrified" when he found out about the attack in Finland. And he says the Pennsylvania teen never would have suspected the Finnish 18-year-old of following through on a violent act.

Cossey was arrested in October for allegedly preparing an attack at a high school in suburban Philadelphia.

His attorney says he showed Cossey the on-line screen name of the teen in Finland today, and that Cossey remembered communicating with him about video games and the Columbine shootings, and exchanging videos they found on the Internet.
