An attempted robber who covered his face during the crime, made the mistake of not noticing the camera outside the store, when his face was still visible. News On 6 crime reporter Lori Fullbright reports on the robbery suspect’s mistake.
Surveillance video of the suspect inside the store shows the suspect’s face was covered and you can tell he is armed. The suspect is at the Kwick Mart at 7400 East Admiral on October 20 at about 11:35 pm.
"Walks into the store, carrying a knife. He demands cash from the clerk. She refuses and he leaves," said Tulsa Police officer Leland Ashley.
In a second surveillance video, you see the suspect with his face uncovered. The second video was taken moments before the robbery while the suspect was still outside and did not realize a camera was watching.
"White male, teens to early 20's, 5-6 to 5-8, 130 to 140 pounds with brown hair," said Officer Leland Ashley.
Tulsa Police hope this crook's mistake will be the very thing that helps them catch him and end his criminal career before it takes off.
