OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Police in Oklahoma City are searching for a gunman who abducted an employee of an Italian restaurant at gunpoint after forcing her to open the safe and cash registers.
Officials say the suspect took Monica L. Grady from Fazoli's Restaurant at 10:57 p.m. Friday as she closed for the night. Police spokesman Master Sgt. Charlie Phillips says no one has seen or heard from her since.
When employees showed up to open the restaurant Saturday, they found cash registers that had been opened and noticed the security system hadn't been activated.
Phillips says video surveillance of the robbery shows the man forcing Grady to open the safe and cash registers and then lead her from the store
