Just in time for Veteran's Day, the Tulsa Zoo's symbol of freedom has a new home. The zoo held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday to reveal its new bald eagle exhibit. After months of renovation, Sutton the Eagle is all moved in.
The exhibit allows people to see how bald eagles live in the wild.
"It just shows, really truly what he needed was this big exhibit, a lot of space, gorgeous waterfall that shows off a lot of their water habits. They nest near water and they also feed from the river a lot, catch fish and stuff like that,†said bird keeper Cody Hickman.
Sutton is 21 years old. In captivity, he could live to be about 50.
You can check out Sutton in his new home in the Eastern Forest Building at the Tulsa Zoo.
