The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is asking for the public’s help to locate a vehicle, which may have caused an accident on the Turner Turnpike Tuesday morning. Troopers say the driver of a dump truck which ran off the turnpike at Sapulpa, said a white pickup truck with emergency strobe lights swerved in front of his vehicle causing the accident.
The dump truck driver said he took evasive action to avoid the pickup truck and ended up running off the road and rolling his dump truck. OHP troopers say the white pickup truck left the scene.
The dump truck driver refused medical treatment.
The accident happened just east of the Sapulpa exit of the Turner Turnpike shortly before 7 am.
