STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy offered a simple explanation for the Cowboys' latest disappointing loss to Texas.
Gundy says Texas made plays in the second half and the fourth quarter and OSU didn't.
The Cowboys blew a 21-point fourth-quarter lead in a 38-35 loss to the Longhorns Saturday night.
It was the fourth time in the past five seasons that Oklahoma State jumped to an early, and oftentimes commanding, lead against Texas, only to watch as the Longhorns rallied to win.
Tailback Jamaal Charles scored on fourth-quarter touchdown runs of 17 and 75 yards to pull the Longhorns within 35-28. A 1-yard touchdown run by Vondrell McGee tied the game with 3:22 left.
Texas kicker Ryan Bailey hit the game-winning 40-yard field goal on the game's final play.
