AMES, Iowa (AP) -- Alexander Robinson ran for two touchdowns as Iowa State stunned Kansas State 31-to-20 on Saturday to snap a six-game losing streak.
Iowa State also got two key interceptions from Chris Singleton. The Cyclones (2-8, 1-5 Big 12) had lost their first five conference games by an average of 23 points.
Down 11 in the fourth quarter, Kansas State (5-4, 3-3) was stopped on a fourth-and-goal at the Iowa State 1. Quarterback Josh Freeman tried to leap over the pile.
Kansas State made a stop and quickly got the ball back to the Iowa State 28, but Daniel Gonzalez let a Freeman pass slip through his hands.
Singleton picked it off to seal coach Gene Chizik's first Big 12 win.
