'Tis the season for the sniffles and worse. The Tulsa County Health Department is now offering free flu shots at a drive-thru clinic. It's part of a test of the county's emergency response plan. Department officials will be analyzing the process to see how fast people are getting their shots, and identifying any problems that may slow things down.
"The plan that we have in place is to vaccinate as many people as we can very quickly," said Melanie Christian of the Tulsa County Health Department.
The clinics are being held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Drive-thru shots are available at the Mabee Center at 77th and Lewis, and a walk-in clinic is open at the TCC West campus at 7505 W. 41st.
