Reckless driving is blamed for a traffic accident that that sends two teenage girls to a Tulsa hospital overnight. The accident happened at 2:40 am Thursday on Avery Drive just east of state Highway 97 in Sand Springs.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the 17-year old driver was westbound on Avery Drive when her vehicle ran off the road and overturned. The driver was pinned until emergency crews could get to her.
A passenger in the vehicle managed to crawl out to safety.
Both victims were transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
