Fire causes considerable damage to a north side Tulsa club overnight. Firefighters were called to Club Fahrenheit at 1800 North Lewis shortly after 2:30 am Wednesday. Upon arrival, firefighters found flames shooting through the roof of the club.
Tulsa Fire crews tried to attack the fire from the inside, but they say the fire was too intense and had to stay outside.
It took about an hour to put out the flames. No one was hurt. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Damage to the club is estimated at $100,000.
Tulsa Fire officials believe a spark from a fireplace caused a fire at the Foxfire Apartments complex in the 7400 block of South Utica overnight. The fire spark caught a nearby wall on fire. The blaze then spread to the attic area above the apartment.
Fire crews quickly put out the flames, but not before two apartment units in the complex were damaged.
No one was hurt.
