A barricaded, reportedly suicidal subject holds Tulsa police at bay for over three hours Monday night. The stand-off, near 31st and South Mingo, ended just after 9 p.m. when the suspect reportedly stepped out onto the balcony of his apartment and allegedly fired at police. Officers reportedly returned fire, killing the man.
Police say the situation began at a bar where the man allegedly poured gasoline on his ex-wife's car. Police caught up with the man around 6 o’clock Monday evening at the Willow Bend Apartments. And, that's where the man reportedly refused to talk with police. Negotiators were called in, but were unsuccessful in contacting the man.
