A Tulsa man convicted of killing a woman and her two children has killed himself in prison. 21-year-old Lorenzo Brown was found dead in his prison cell at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester over the weekend.

Brown was convicted in Tulsa County District Court of killing Karen Chappel and her sons Whitney and Kalin in 2003. Brown was only 17 at the time of the murders.

Brown is the second inmate at the state prison to commit suicide this month.
