The man at the center of a deadly road rage shooting will stand trial on a manslaughter charge. A judge ruled Tuesday morning that Kenneth Gumm will go to trial for the shooting death of Dale Turney at Tulsa's River Parks in June. Gumm has always claimed he acted in self-defense in the shooting, and has said Turney was the one in a rage.

Police reports say Turney followed Gumm into a River Parks parking lot, blocking Gumm's car. A confrontation ensued and police say Gumm shot Turney.

Days after the shooting, Gumm told The News On 6 he felt threatened and acted in self-defense. He did have a permit to carry a concealed weapon.
