STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -- The Oklahoma State Cowboys are looking for help at linebacker.
Linebackers Patrick Lavine, Jeremy Nethon and Chris Collins are each nursing injuries and coaches say defensive end Rod Johnson will practice at that position this week.
Johnson played linebacker his first three seasons at OSU and coach Mike Gundy says coaches have no other choice.
Lavine has a bruised leg and is expected to practice this week but Nethon suffered a severely sprained ankle during the Kansas State game and may not be able to play next Saturday against Texas.
Collins has missed four games with turf toe and his status is also uncertain.
