The man accused of burning a mother and her 7-month-old baby alive is expected to be in court. An arraignment is scheduled Monday for Raymond Johnson. He is accused of killing Brooke Whitaker and her 7-month old daughter Kya back in June. Their bodies were found by firefighters called to a fire at their East Tulsa home.

Johnson allegedly told police he hit Whitaker several times with a hammer, doused her with gasoline and set her on fire. Johnson also says he poured gasoline in the living room and Kyaâ€™s room, said police.

Prosecutors say they will ask for the death penalty.
