PENSACOLA, Fla. (AP) -- There's damage to a church, a daycare center and a major shopping mall but, no reports of injuries, after a tornado touched down Thursday in the westen Florida Panhandle.
The twister damaged the roofs of several homes and buildings in downtown Pensacola.
A sheriff's spokesman in Florida says the roof of a Baptist church was damaged, along with its daycare center. But he says the children had been moved to safety before the tornado struck.
Earlier, in rural Missouri a possible tornado killed two people in a mobile home.
