OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority gives preliminary approval to a $159 million combined operations budget and capital plan for 2008.
The budget includes $66 million for operations and maintenance and a $93 million capital plan.
OTA finance director Wendy Smith says the agency doesn't plan to raise turnpike tolls.
The 2008 capital plan includes nearly $60 million for paving rehabilitation and more than $6 million for bridge and slope repair.
Smith says the authority is on track to meet its estimated toll revenue of $197 million this year, and set an estimate of $202 million in toll revenue for 2008.
Authority members will consider a final version of the budget next month.
