Tulsa police join forces with Tulsa Public Schools to keep students safer. Officers performed random searches at Central High School, located at 3300 W. Edison in Tulsa, Tuesday morning.

Police arrested two students and wrote tickets to two others for various things, from having ibuprofen on campus to knives and other drugs.

“You're not allowed to bring guns on campus, you're not allowed to bring marijuana or meth or even ibuprofen without a nurses approval,” said Tulsa Public Schools spokeswoman Tami Marler. “So we want to get the message out, don't even waste your time bringing things to school that you're not supposed to have.”

TPS says they conduct these searches at random times at area schools.
