OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A tip helps Oklahoma City police arrest three people in connection with a bank robbery in which a teller and a customer were hurt.
FBI Special Agent Gary Johnson says the robbery occurred about 12:45 Monday afternoon when two armed men wearing skeleton masks walked into an IBC Bank on north Portland Avenue.
Johnson says the robbers hit a 60-year-old customer and the 25-year-old teller in the back of their heads with the butt of their guns before taking money and leaving.
The customer declined treatment.
Emergency Medical Services Authority spokeswoman Lara O'Leary says the teller was hospitalized in good condition after suffering minor trauma.
Johnson says a witness followed a van from the bank and told police, who tracked the vehicle to an apartment complex, where they noticed a man with a gun inside one of the units.
Twenty-eight-year-old Joseph Benjamin Jordan and 38 year-old Gregory Ray Terry were arrested on federal bank robbery complaints. Twenty-eight-year-old Kishia Deon Hicks also was taken into custody.
