Merritt's Bakery, near 15th and Harvard in Tulsa, is whipping up cupcakes for a cause. This is the bakery's 4th year for a sweet idea that helps seriously ill children. The bakery donates $1 from every cupcake sold this week to Cancer Care for Kids.

â€œKids are real important to our business and real important to us personally. And, anything that we can do to help especially those families that suffer with kids with cancer, we just really have an open heart for them,â€ said the bakeryâ€™s Larry Merritt.

Customers can buy specially designed cupcakes at Merrittâ€™s at 15th and Harvard all this week from 6 am to 6 pm.
