JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- David Garrard threw two touchdown passes and Maurice Jones-Drew piled up 260 all-purpose yards in the Jaguars 37-17 thumping of the visiting Houston Texans. And it could have been worse had the Jags not fumbled the ball away three times.
It's Jacksonville's fourth straight victory following a season-opening loss.
The Texans have given the Jaguars headaches in recent years, winning four of their previous six meetings between the AFC South clubs. They essentially knocked the Jags out of playoff contention in 2004 and 2006.
The loss drops Houston to 3-and-3.
David Garrard finished 22-of-34 for 221 yards and still hasn't thrown an interception all season.
