Jail Inmate Dies

A Tulsa jail inmate charged with murder dies just days before his trial was to begin. 56-year-old Alfred Houston Johnson died Wednesday at a Tulsa hospital. A cause of death has not been determined.

A Tulsa jail inmate charged with murder dies just days before his trial was to begin. 56-year-old Alfred Houston Johnson died Wednesday at a Tulsa hospital. A cause of death has not been determined.

Johnson was accused of the shooting death of Deborah Lynn Wilson at her Broken Arrow home in 2004. His trial was scheduled to begin Monday.

A medical report shows Johnson suffered from a variety of illnesses including diabetes and hepatitis C.

Johnson had been in the hospital since September 8.
