TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- Andrea Boren, the wife of U.S. Representative Dan Boren, has given birth to the couple's first child in a Tulsa hospital.

Boren's office says Janna Lou Boren was born at 10:50 a.m. Tuesday. She weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces.

A spokesman for Boren's office says the baby is the first grandchild of University of Oklahoma President David Boren, former Oklahoma governor and U.S. senator.

Andrea Boren is the sister of former Oklahoma quarterback Josh Heupel, who currently is the quarterbacks coach for the Sooners.
