Tulsa Police detectives have new information about a Tulsa homicide that happened April 15. They hope it is just the key they need to unlock the case. News On 6 crime reporter Lori Fullbright reports Terrance Buckner and a couple of buddies had been at the Genesis Club in east Tulsa, then stopped by a convenience store at 21st and Garnett and headed home.
The suspects in this case, happened to be at the convenience store at the same time and Tulsa Police believe the suspect got into a couple of cars and followed Buckner's car. Someone in one of those other vehicles opened fire as Buckner drove on U.S. highway 169 about 5 am.
At the time, detectives did not have an ID on a suspect vehicle, but now think they do.
Tulsa Police detectives hope someone knows who is or was driving the suspect's vehicle as a way to jump-start their investigation. Tulsa Police say that vehicle could be a mid-90's Buick Park Avenue, maroon with tan paint on the lower part of the vehicle.
