Three former preteen pop stars are trying to sway Tulsa County undecided voters about next Tuesday’s river tax vote. Right now, the ‘River Yes’ and ‘River No’ campaigns are running neck and neck. News On 6 reporter Joshua Brakhage caught up with the Hanson brothers on Saturday as they campaigned for the 'Yes' vote.

The group has just released its latest album and it is called ‘The Walk.’ The picture on the front of the album was shot on a sand bar in the Arkansas River in Tulsa. The three brothers were back on the banks of the Arkansas River on Saturday, endorsing the river tax. They say it is important to the area, especially Tulsans their age. It is the first time the pop group has played politics, and they admit it is not a perfect plan.

"I'm not somebody who really likes the idea of more taxes. I think most people do not like the idea of more taxes. And it's always pretty scary, 'oh man, we're just going to keep on paying money for stuff?' Yeah, but in this particular case, I think there's a good reason for it. It's the only way unfortunately that something like this can get done," said Isaac Hanson.

All three brothers are registered voters in Tulsa County and will be voting absentee.

The Hanson brothers tells the News On 6, they hope to shoot their next album cover in a boat on a full Arkansas River.

By the way, a concert that was canceled on Wednesday at the Cain’s Ballroom has been rescheduled for November 11.
