Vacant House Fire
An overnight house fire keeps Tulsa firefighters busy. Firefighters were called out shortly before 10:30 p.m. Tuesday to the 6200 block of West 8th Street. When they arrived, the front of the home was full of flames. Complicating things was a live power line crews had to avoid at the edge of the driveway.
The home is vacant and no one was hurt.
Fire investigators are trying to determine a cause.
School Burglary
Tulsa Police are looking for whoever broke into a Tulsa Public School overnight. It happened at Project 12 on West Newton at around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. Police officers searched the neighborhood but did not find anyone.
There is no word on if anything was taken.
Traffic Accident Causes Power Outage
PSO crews worked quickly to restore power to a few blocks of downtown Tulsa early Wednesday morning. Tulsa Police say at around 3:15 a.m., the driver of a car apparently had a steering problem, jumped the curb and hit a utility pole near 11th and Houston.
The accident snapped the pole and left about a few PSO customers without electric service temporarily. Traffic lights in the area were also out.
PSO says power has been restored to all customers.
