Conviction Affirmed In Judge's Case

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ An appeals court upholds the conviction of a former judge for exposing himself by using a sexual device while presiding over trials. Among other findings, the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals said sufficient chain of custody had been established for admission of a penis pump that the judge was accused of using behind the bench.

Former Creek County District Judge Donald Thompson was sentenced to four years in prison on four counts of indecent exposure.

Thompson's attorney, Clark Brewster, says the penis pump was severely damaged and shouldn't have been allowed to be demonstrated in court as if it did work.

The appeals court said evidence showed the pump was in working order.
