Broken Arrow Police have released an updated description of the suspect they are looking for in the recent kidnapping and sexual assault of a 5-year-old girl. Police say the suspect is described as a white, fair-skinned male, with short thinning light colored hair, partially bald. The suspect’s age range is approximately 30 to 40-years-old. The suspect did not have facial hair or eyeglasses at the time of the assault.
Broken Arrow Police have also updated the suspect’s vehicle description. Police Major Mark Irwin says they are now looking for a smaller white car. He says they have not ruled out the Dodge Intrepid, but are entertaining leads of possible other makes and models of vehicles, all white in color.
In addition, Broken Arrow Police have plans to release a sketch of the suspect sometime later this week.
A $10,000 reward has been set up to help Broken Arrow Police arrest the suspect in connection with the abduction and sexual assault. Police say an individual, who wished to remain anonymous, is offering the $10,000 reward.
Broken Arrow Police say they have received a number of tips in connection with the case. They are sifting through all those tips in hopes of turning up additional information about the suspect who abducted the 5-year-old.
Police say the girl was taken from outside her home and left on a street about 7 miles away, naked and injured. The victim, who is now out of the hospital, underwent a second forensic interview with Broken Arrow Police on Tuesday.
