DALLAS (AP) _ A man charged with stabbing his wife and her two young sons called 911 to say he had killed them, according to an arrest warrant affidavit released Wednesday.

``My name is Robert Sparks and I just killed my wife and the two boys. You need to get over there fast,'' Sparks said during the Saturday morning call.

After giving the home's address and his name again, the caller said: ``I left two girls in the closet.''

Emergency personnel arrived Saturday to find 30-year-old Chare Agnew and her sons _ 10-year-old Raeqwon Agnew and 9-year-old Harold Sublet _ stabbed to death in their Dallas home.

Agnew's two teenage daughters were found bound and gagged in a closet. They were taken to the hospital and released.

The teens later told a detective that Sparks, their stepfather, had killed their mother and brothers, according to the affidavit.

Sparks, 33, fled the home. Police said that after they spotted him in a stolen car Tuesday, he led them on a slow-speed chase and fired several shots before he became trapped on a dead-end residential street.

Police said that while officers led him away, Sparks said his wife had tried to poison him and that her sons were helping her.

Sparks, who has a history of criminal violence, made the same allegation during a jailhouse interview with Dallas television station KTVT.

In the interview, Sparks described his wife opening her eyes as he stabbed her with a 6- to 7-inch blade. ``I told you I'd kill you if I found out,'' Sparks said he told Agnew.

When asked why he killed his stepsons, Sparks said he wanted the victims to suffer like he had suffered.
