Auction Network Plans

TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- A group of entrepreneurs in Tulsa are planning an Internet and television network to auction a wide range of items. The Auction Network is to launch its first phase October 28th with streaming video online and will eventually auction everything from homes and animals to sports and Hollywood memorabilia.

The group was formed by Pam McKissick with Dean Williams. McKissick is a former president and chief operating officer of TV Guide Networks while Williams is CEO of the Tulsa real estate auction firm Williams and Williams.

McKissick says the venture is the first live, interactive and real-time global auction network.
