Man Found Dead Outside Apartment Complex

A murder suspect is on the run from Tulsa Police. The body of 29-year-old Scott Jason Curts was found early Saturday morning at the Birch Place Apartments near 31st and Garnett. He was found face down in the grass with multiple gunshot wounds.

Police say it is believed the victim was killed sometime Friday night after an altercation in a nearby car. Police officers say they found broken glass from a car in the parking lot and shell casings.

"Obviously there was some kind of altercation at the car. Why, we don't know, but an altercation resulted in somebody shooting at him,â€ said Tulsa Police Captain Steve Odom. â€œIt looked like he ran thirty of forty feet until he collapsed and died."

Tulsa Police do not have any suspects in this case, and have been canvassing the Birch Place Apartments, hoping to find someone who saw or heard something. They are hoping the Curtsâ€™ family or friends might be able to shed some light on their investigation.
