NORMAN, Okla. (AP) Oklahoma receiver Malcolm Kelly has shaken off a knee injury to become a key part of the third-ranked Sooners offensive explosion in the first two games. Kelly has caught just eight passes so far but five are for touchdowns to tie for the most in the nation.
Kelly was hurt during the Fiesta Bowl game OU lost to Boise State and says he wasn't confident enough to test it until about two weeks into fall practice.
Now he's already one-third of the way to Mark Clayton's season record of 15 touchdown receptions with ten games left in the regular season plus a likely bowl game.
OU hosts Utah State on Saturday in Norman.
