TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ The University of Tulsa will ask the NCAA for a medical hardship for injured running back Courtney Tennial. Tennial is a senior and is out for the season because of an ankle injury he suffered during preseason workouts.
Tennial spent two years at Oklahoma but never played before transferring to TU in 2005. He was a medical redshirt in 2003 making him eligible for a medical hardship.
Tennial led Tulsa in rushing last year with 862 yards and 14 touchdowns.
