Building Fire Investigated

Tulsa firefighters were called out to a building fire overnight near 41st and Yale. Fire officials say the fire was in a support facility building at the University of Oklahoma Schusterman Center.

A security guard discovered a fire on the roof of an old cooling tower that housed the boiler room and air conditioning units for campus buildings.

The tower was scheduled to be torn down last week but was delayed due to the rain. The fire marshal is investigating what caused the fire.

There are no reported injuries.

Firefighters were dispatched to the 2200 block of South Sheridan around 3 a.m. Wednesday. When they arrived, they found a fire in the kitchen, which caused some minor damage.

The two victims are expected to be okay.

There is no word on what sparked the fire.
