You may notice some new message signs along Oklahoma roads and highways. The Transportation Commission approved a project to install nine more of the signs, which broadcast public information alerts such as Amber Alerts and road conditions.
Four new signs will go up in the Tulsa area, two near the Turner Turnpike Entrance on Interstate 44 and Interstate 244. Another will be put up on the Creek Turnpike near I-44 and U.S. Highway 66. The final sign will be installed on westbound I-44 just before the Kellyville exit.
