NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops is telling fans to not be too quick in comparing quarterback Sam Bradford with former Sooners Josh Heupel and Jason White.

Bradford has played just two games but the redshirt freshman leads the nation in passing efficiency. He's thrown eight touchdowns with no interceptions and tied a school record with five TD passes in one game.

But Stoops warns itâ€™s too early to compare him to the Heisman Trophy winning White or Heisman runner-up Heupel.

Stoops does acknowledge Bradford is following a path similar to White and Heupel in getting his OU career started.
