Woman Dies After Accident Involving Man Wanted By Police

A 19-year-old woman has died from injuries she received in a crash on Friday. Tulsa Police tell the News On 6, she was hit by Jermaine Jeffery, who was trying to escape from Tulsa Police.

Officers say Jefferyâ€™s girlfriend called and said he'd shot at her, but missed and took off. Police chased him at high speeds until he crashed in a wooded area near 36th Street North and Lewis. Police dogs tracked him to the Comanche Park Apartments, but police weren't able to find him.
