STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma State plans to begin shuffling its seating plan at Boone Pickens Stadium next season to comply with a lawsuit filed under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Some seats will be removed to make room for additional aisles, and other seats will be widened by several inches.
Oklahoma State ticket manager Tom Johnson says the lawsuit settlement was the reason for the changes, and not the addition of 20,000 new seats in the stadium's west end zone.
For season ticket holders, the changes mean they will have to go through a selection process to get new seats. That process will take place in late May and early June next year, and the selection order will be determined through points based on donations and how long season ticket holders have held their seats.
