OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Country singer Blake Shelton gave Gov. Brad Henry a check for $100,000 Wednesday to aid with the flood relief effort in Oklahoma.

Shelton hosted a concert in his hometown of Ada to raise money for Oklahomans in need.

The money will go to Project Rebuild, a public-private partnership of state officials, faith-based organizations and trade associations that builds and repairs homes for disaster victims.

Last year, Shelton raised money that went to assist Oklahomans whose homes and property were damaged by wildfires.
