SHAWNEE, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma Baptist University's Lady Bison won their soccer home opener 5-1 over the University of Texas-Brownsville.
The Scorpions, who have played more matches in Shawnee than the Lady Bison, got a taste of their own medicine after beating St. Gregorys 5-0 Tuesday.
OBU had three goals on the scoreboard in the first 12 minutes. Hilary Hendrickson scored the first goal with an assist from Mengjun Zang in the third minute.
Zang, who had two goals and two assists in the contest, delivered a 2-0 lead in the 10th minute with an assist from Lin Yan.
Zang was on the board again, this time with an assist from Katya Arruda, in the 12th minute for the 3-0 lead.
Andi Little allowed no goals as the starting keeper. The Lady Bison out-shot the Scorpions 20-9.
