OCHELATA, Okla. (AP) _ A Ramona teenager dies Saturday morning after her truck runs off a Washington County road and strikes two trees.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 16-year-old Kandace Krause was driving a pickup when the accident occurred at about 12:20 a.m. on a county road about three miles east of Ochelata.

OHP troopers say Krause's pickup left the road for an unknown reason before hitting the trees and coming to rest in a ditch. The girl died at the scene.

Troopers listed unsafe speed as the cause of the accident.
