Broken Arrow residents and businesses got some good news from the city on Saturday. The city announced Saturday morning that it had lifted its outdoor watering ban.

Earlier in the week, Broken Arrow announced the city’s main water line had broken. Utility crews have been working since Thursday to repair the water line.

While the repairs were underway, city officials say they had to use water reserves and thus a ban on all outdoor watering was imposed. Those residents and businesses that violated the ban faced a $500 ticket from the city of Broken Arrow.
