McALESTER, Okla. (AP) -- A head-on collision on U.S. Highway 270 near McAlester has left four McAlester residents dead. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Carolyn Pinkney, Jesse Pinkney, Alexis Johnson and Patricia Johnson were killed in the collision on Thursday.

OHP troopers say a car driven by Carolyn Pinkney was eastbound when it hydroplaned into the westbound lanes and crashed into the car carrying the Johnsons.

A 15-year-old girl in Pinkney's car is hospitalized in Tulsa in guarded condition with head and internal injuries.
