New information about a story Wednesday involving a student at a Tulsa high school. Tulsa Public Schools say initial reports about the incident at Booker T. Washington High School were inaccurate. On Wednesday, school officials told the News On 6, a 16-year-old high school student was hospitalized after an apparent overdose.
School officials on Wednesday had said the teen was "acting drunk." When questioned, the student claimed she had been drinking and had taken Xanex, an anxiety medication.
School officials say the student was treated and released from a Tulsa hospital.
