A suspect armed with a baseball bat, targets women in south Tulsa overnight. Tulsa Police say the man approached a woman at the Cedar Glades Apartments near 71st and Mingo around 1:30 a.m. The victim told police officers he started hitting her car, and then when she tried to drive away, he rammed her car with his vehicle.
Tulsa Police say the suspect then targeted another woman in the same parking lot. Police officers say that woman was hurt when the suspect smashed her car window with a baseball bat. "He was jabbing the bat inside the window and blacked her eye. When the glass shattered it cut her face a little bit, but she's going to be OK," says Tulsa Police Cpl. Terry Maurer.
When police arrived on scene, there was no sign of the suspect, but left his vehicle behind.
Tulsa Police say the Honda car the suspect was driving was stolen from Will Rogers High School in Tulsa last week.
