A 28-year-old Tulsa man is in custody after a standoff with police Tuesday morning. Tulsa Police say the standoff started just before 8 a.m. after officers responded to a domestic disturbance at the Lewiston Apartments in the 5200 block of South Lewis.
Police say a man, identified as Bryan Reeves, had returned to the complex with a gun following an earlier disturbance at an apartment there. The woman in that apartment called Tulsa Police and when police officers arrived, they say Reeves was getting into a car. Police say when Reeves saw police, he barricaded himself in the car.
Tulsa Police's special operations team was called in and Reeves gave himself up after several hours. No one was hurt.
