OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Congressman Frank Lucas is suggesting former Oklahoma Governor Frank Keating to replace Alberto Gonzales as U.S. attorney general. Gonzales Monday announced he's resigning.

Lucas says Keating would be ideal and would explain to the Democratic controlled Congress what he would do and he would do it in his own way.

Lucas says Frank Keating is the type of person President Bush must nominate or no one will be confirmed as attorney general for the remainder of Bush's term.

Frank Keating is currently serving as president of the American Council of Life Insurers.
