HARRISON, N.Y. (AP) _ After entering Sunday's final round of The Barclays just two shots off the lead, former Oklahoma State golfer Hunter Mahan plummets from contention.
Mahan shot a 5-over-par 76, one day after he finished 14 strokes better with a 9-under 62. Mahan's disastrous round Sunday left him nine shots behind the tournament's winner, Steve Stricker.
Mahan and former Oklahoma golfer Anthony Kim were among a group of golfers tied for 17th at 7-under for the tournament. Kim shot a 1-under 70 Sunday.
Kim and Mahan both won $101,500.
