Tulsa Police are still investigating an assault Thursday evening, which sent a man to the hospital with a head wound. Tulsa Police had first believed a bullet had grazed the man's head. Police now say after being treated at the hospital, it was determined the victim had been struck in the head with a blunt instrument.

The incident happened Thursday near Pine and Sheridan. Tulsa Police were called to a nearby Walgreens store about 9:30 p.m. When officers arrived, they found a man with a head wound lying on the ground in front of the store. The victim told Tulsa Police the name of the suspect in the attack and police are now looking for him.
